My 99 SS goes pop pop pop and then doesn't start   ran fine on the way into work in the  morning  after work I'm stuck with pop pop pop  what should I be looking for   I got gas, power "good battery", oil, thinking of checking belts for timing.  any help would help if this happened to your SS   thanks

went through the belts , the spark plugs, the spark,I did tighten the nut on the top of the spark plugs . coulden't find any thing put all back togather and fired her up and she runs don't know what I did but she hot to ride mountians of san diego
